As I have said elsewhere, there is Power in all things. Men, women, animals, plants,
rocks, the earth, the stars... The world as we know is an exchange of Power, and that's
what we call Ollin. Some of this is obvious. When a jaguar kills and eats a deer, there
is a transfer of Power from the deer to the jaguar. On such exchanges the living world
is based. Ollin - "movement" - is the process of the exchange.
There are other exchanges of Power in the world that are not so obvious. When it rains,
there is a transfer of Power from cloud to earth. There are many things which determine
whether rain will fall at a certain time in a certain place, so many that it cannot be exactly
determined.
