Finally, those who know literature and the short-story format will understand that the "stories" presented here are, for the most part, not really stories at all, they're just scenes--there is no plot and no setup to speak of, and very little in the way of characterization.

Here, however, are a few actual, formal, plotted stories, published for the first time at this site on the web. More will follow in the future. You'll find them back at the bar; follow the "talk to Sam" links from there.
