This is kind of a special place, a favorite spot of mine. You think you're still back in the past, and you are... but at the same time you're not. Here, the date is actually past 2000, but there's a suggestion, a heavy fragrance, of 1400 in the air... this is a place sort of like the portal at my bar, where times collide. You can't smell it? Ah, well. You can look, anyway. Down there, beyond this pile of rock, that's where the City was - where it is, when you are. It's gone now, of course. Completely gone.

But I understand something might happen today, and this gate may open up.
