No kidding they're not realistic!
I don't want to write 'realistic' stories about killing 'real' women and murder. I am more than capable of writing stories that would give most people nightmares. I do not however write nightmares, I write of fantasies, pleasant erotic dreams for the sane yet twisted among us.
My Bellybutts are not 'real' people. They are fantastical figments of an imagination fueled by fantasies inspired in infancy. They are by their very nature infantile in their conception and even in their behaviour. These Bellybutt stories occur in an impossible magical place, where impossible magical things can and do happen. Such is the nature of fantasy, is it not? They are most definitely cartoonish, as cartoons embody just those impossibilities.
I feel very comfortable letting my fantasies run free in such a milieu. In such a place I can utterly abandon restraint and tell the truth about what drives my reverie. None of these writings are about real people. The people are not real, their motives and actions are not real, the situations are not real, the fantasy is not real.
