The screams grew as I entered the room. There was Terra, the notorious hangwoman, torturing Mira, the soon to be hanged thief. Terra stood in her regal outfit : long black heal shoes, black net stockings covering long legs, moving up to her short shiny black leather pants, tightly covering her ass and cunt, and on the top just a black bra squeezing her big tits together, and the shiny black jacket.
Terra was very busy whipping poor naked Mira. The screams were wild after every whosh of the whip. Hanged by her arms, Mira didn't have lots of ability to maneuver, which made the whip go exactly where Terra wanted it to go : The nipples, cunt, and all sensitive places she could find.
The reason for torturing the already condemned to death woman was an attempt to learn who has the rest of the Queen's stolen diamonds, which were only partially retrieved after catching Mira. The screams, sobs, and tears, that were very real didn't seem to get Terra anywhere, for reasons only I knew.
"Come on, minister," Terra greeted me with a broad smile. She was enjoying her duty, no doubt about that. "Was just in the process of getting the truth out of this thief."
"Any luck ?", I asked. "Hmmm, nice bag," I suddenly said, holding the little black bag Terra went everywhere with.
"Get your filthy hands off my bag !" Yelled Terra, as I put her bag down where it was not saying anything about her outburst. She got a grip, then said, "Ehm ... No progress yet, and I have to give her credit for it, because most people don't stand even half of what I put her through. I still didn't use the advanced tools because it would cramp her for the hanging, and we best avoid that. I mean, hanging a girl with no eyes is not the same thing."
The eyes of Mira went wide open upon hearing that sad prospect, and she started to kick her legs madly. "Nooooooo", she yelled like a trapped animal.
"Since the tricks you use now are not working, maybe we have to use the eye stabber. I'd hate to fail the Queen on finding the rest of her diamonds", I said.
"Feeling the heat minister ?", said Terra with a mocking smile. "I'm not sure you should bother so much. I know that finding the truth on this one is your ministerial responsibility, and not finding the diamonds makes chances greater for your head to get in the noose, like all the other under achiever ministers I had the pleasure of hanging, but I'm not sure that fate can be avoided. After all, you know I'm very close to the Queen, and I hear that she's not too pleased with your performance already. I had to agree with her. So I also took the liberty of preparing your noose. I have it on me at all times so I can use it quickly. Isn't it lovely ?" As she said that she took out a noose that looked quite standard, an impish grin on her face.
"You know, I have the feeling I shouldn't have selected you for this job. You are arrogant, assuming, and your lack of success with Mira here shows that things more complicated than dropping helpless people is too complicated for you." That was me giving her a piece of my mind.
"Of course you made a mistake. Just couldn't wait to get in my pants, right ? You men are always after another cunt. No brains outside your balls." Terra lectured me.
It turned out that as I was talking, the Queen entered the room. She must have heard my last sentence because she went on from there.
"Having problems with your appointed staff, minister ?" Said the Queen making me embarrassed by the whole situation. Yet I didn't let it get to me and I answered her question : "It looks like torturing Mira is not getting us closer to finding out who helped her, and locating the rest of the diamonds, your highness. I suggested we used the eye stabber which Mira is terrified from, but my appointed staff says it won't be fun hanging a blind woman," I explained.
"I feel that Terra is right," said the Queen winking at the direction of Terra, and smiling at her, which I noticed, even when Terra cleverly remained the same. "And getting the truth out is your responsibility. Be creative instead of wanting to use grisly hardware, and blaming your staff. This is the 14th century for crying out loud ! Now get me some results or someone here will have to pay for my lost diamonds ! And do it fast, because Mira is to be hanged in less than half an hour !"
"Yes, your highness." I said as i watched Terra stroke her noose with a sadistic smile, sticking her tongue out. "In that case I will require the condemned woman for a short private interrogation."
"Short it will be, minister. You have ten minutes exactly, and I'm being very generous." Said the Queen. "Let the poor girl down, you can use the back room while Terra prepares the gallows."
I took poor Mira to the back room, while both women went away. I let her sit down and gave her some water. Then I sat on the table and smiled at her. She looked at me with an angry face, that looked like she was going to kill me then and there, which she'd probably do if she had any strength after what Terra just did to her.
"Couldn't you come earlier to save me from that bitch ?! And what was that crap about the eye stabber ?! I was going insane just thinking about it. Some partners for crime I have the brains to pick ! And you don't even intend to save me from the rope."
"Look Mira, saving you from the rope is not my responsibility. You know how it is : do the crime, do the time. I must admit you held on very well under Terra. I just knew you had it in you," I said.
"Son of a bitch," was all she could say.
"Oh I see you are a bit mad about my threat to make sure your whole family pays if you opened your mouth. You were right to be careful, too. Some very loyal people of mine had their orders, and are still close to your loving family. But now you can rest assured nothing will happen to them. I know I should have trusted you and not make any threats. After all, you'd defend me just the same if I didn't, right ?" I looked into her angry eyes and smiled.
Mira had a blank look as she said : "What the heck, you are dead meat anyway. Terra is after you, and the Queen is agreeable. No one escaped her, you know. It looks like she enjoys killing men especially of your rank. It's just a matter of time, and not too much of it, I'm sure, so you can wipe that stupid smile off your face. If I were you I'd start to worry the Queen doesn't fall into standard procedure and announces my family hanged as well. In that case all bets are off."
"Of course my dear faithful partner. After all, with nothing to lose you wouldn't wait half a second to get me into the hands of that monster." I said.
"You better believe it asshole ! I hate you !", said Mira and somehow I felt for her, trapped in that hopeless position.
"Okey, I guess you have a right to feel that way. This interrogation is officially over. Lets go."

I had to sit next to the Queen as the procedure went on. Terra was now leading Mira, hands tied behind her, wearing a short skirt and no top, to the noose. People were very cheerful as they approved of the way Mira looked. Soon the noose was tight as Terra was very professional. On a "good" day she hanged dozens. Terra was handling the tedious formal procedure, and held the handle of the drop when the Queen suddenly stood up and said : "My loyal subjects ! This woman is not only condemned for stealing personal objects of the Queen. She also refused to give details about her fellow thieves and the location of the rest of the stolen property. This is a personal insult, a betrail of her sovereign, and leads to the horrible possibility the rest of the treasure may never be found. I therefor decided that tomorrow her whole family will pay for that ! Let everyone know what is the fate of the families of such people ! The condemned will be now dropped. Executrix, do your job NOW !"
Quickly Mira whispered in Terra's ear something. Terra smiled, looked at me and pulled the lever. Not giving one glance to Mira who was now twisting and jerking, Terra took the noose she had prepared for me out of her bag with a smile and started to walk towards me and the Queen. I distracted the Queen by talking to her."
"My Queen, I must inform you that I know the identity of the one who helped Mira steal the diamonds. I had to withhold that information until Mira hanged because she was afraid Terra would threaten her."
"I don't understand," said the Queen, "why would Terra do that ?"
"Because Terra is the one we were looking for all this time. She would torture Mira in horrible ways to make her drop the blame on someone else." I said waiting for the Queen's reaction.
"Nonsense !" said the Queen. "Something here smells very bad. Here's Terra, lets see what she has to say." Terra was just arriving.
"Well my Queen," said Terra with her usual sickening smile, "now we know who's the other criminal. It is no other than your loyal minister. Not that I'm so surprised. He always looked shifty to me. Mira just told me it was him."
"Come on your highness, you don't intend to fall for that. Terra is always after one of your ministers. Everybody knows she is always dragging behind you trying to kill someone. Six ministers were hanged while she was in office. Now she is giving evidence out of the mouth of a woman she just hanged," I said as I pointed to the form of poor Mira now jerking and twisting on her rope, her bare tits flopping around, "and you must admit she was working extra time on my case. You know that better than anyone else. You remember she was the one not wanting to use harsher means on Mira. The poor girl must have been terrorized not to say anything about her criminal partner. Take Mira down and we will know the tru ..."
"Silence you incompetent fools ! No one is letting a hanged woman down, it is inhumane and most of all contradicts my verdict. I said to be hanged by her neck and meant it ! This is the 15th century for ..."
"14th century." I corrected her.
"Goddamn it assholes ! one of you will prove the other is guilty with 100% certainty or both of you are worm food ! I give you both ten minutes, now move it !" Yelled the Queen almost hysterically. She was always a spoiled brat, even in her 50's. A no good scum dressed like a Queen. If anyone should hang it should be her. But now I had to save myself and not ponder about things that will require a coup.
I swiftly took Terra's bag from her hands and took a jewel I had hidden there when Terra was torturing Mira. "There you go, your highness. The thief is so arrogant she walks around with your diamonds. She thinks you are a fool."
"What the fuck ?!" said Terra a bit confused for a moment, but understanding what went on very fast. The woman was very smart, that I always knew. "So that's why you were messing with my bag today. I should have thought a worm like you will always have something up his sleeve." Getting closer to hit me in the face, the Queen stopped her.
"Enough is enough ! Let the personal Queen squad leader approach her imperial highness !" she said as I almost puked from her constantly pompous words and attitude. I'd break her neck right there if I could. The squad leader came, and she kept going : "You will take this key to the imperial key holder. He will give you my copy of the key of both these employed subjects. You will go directly to their houses and search them. The one that holds my precious jewels will hang next to Mira."
Completely forgotten Mira was now swaying limp at the end of her rope. Dead or almost there. Terra gave a little smile, and her head, previously a bit pale, got some color again. The squad leader gave me a nod after he gave the Queen one, and went away. One of my best men. I wasn't a bit surprised when he returned plenty of Jewels, yet not the unmarked gold and silver, saying he found them at Terra's house. Nothing more could be found, he said. The thief must have used it already. He knew perfectly well most of what remained would go to him as a handsome fee. Still I was happy to know I'll get a small fraction of a big treasure, that will go perfectly well with keeping my life.
"This is an outrage," yelled Terra. "This is a conspiracy ! He's a liar ! I'm being framed ! ..."
"Silence you double crossing bitch ! Hang her ! Hang her now !", said the Queen realizing the technical problem as she spoke. "Oh it looks like there's no hangman to do the job. The executrix will have the privilege of hanging herself like she did the rest. Pay attention Terra, you have only one warning. Do it or I will have someone else do it."
"Oh my most imperial divine Queen to which I'm mere dust. Can't you see the foul trick this low life minister is playing on you ?! Would I ever do such a thing ?! How can you order the death of your lover ?!" Everyone was hushed and Terra went pale as she realized letting out that secret was not a good way to escape the rope.
"Minister !" she looked at me giving a direct order, "you will make sure this poor excuse of a subject is hanged promptly, while filling the vacant job of the executioner RIGHT NOW ! Get the job done right away even if you have to do it yourself !"
"This is ..." Terra started to yell again, totally ignored.
"Yes your highness, I hereby appoint myself to be the next hangman relieving Terra of her duties. Squad leader ! Make sure the condemned is held tightly, it looks like we are going to get plenty of resistance !" I ordered.
" ... you can't do this ! it is injustice !" yelled Terra as two soldiers held her arms behind her in a way Terra couldn't move them. She tried to free herself, but the soldiers did a good job that enabled me to tie her hands with a little rope I found ready in her magic bag. I just knew she held there something to go with the noose she made for me. I took that noose from her, while she was still making a futile attempt to free herself, yelling and swearing and kicking her legs down.
"Bring her to the gallows !" I ordered, and the soldiers pushed Terra who was resisting every inch of the way. She was a very strong woman and managed to delay them quite a bit. I walked easily to the gallows, and fixed the noose Terra made on the beam next to the lifeless body of Mira. "Hello Mira, I thought you could use some company. I'm really sorry things turned out that way for you. Try to be more careful and not to get caught next time, okey ?"
With this I turned to look at the lynch party coming up the gallows with Terra screaming away, using her legs to resist mounting the low gallows, and kicking the soldiers. The soldiers finally positioned her close to the noose, as I slapped her face telling her to have some dignity, while I was trying to noose her, her trying to avoid it. I held her by her neck, almost snapping it, and pulled the rope around her neck. She had a look of terror in her eyes and kept yelling : "... Nooooo, you can't do this ! this is wrong ! I will ...", but I was perfectly calm and used this time to look at the executrix outfit she still wore, enjoying the sight of of full tits peaking out of her black bra, only half hidden by the shining leather jacket. I put my hand on her tight black pants just over her cunt, just one for the good old days, when I entered that hot hole. Saying nothing I went to the lever and held it.
All was still but one voice that didn't last : " ... You will pay for this, dirt bag ! I will make sure ..."
