Lil Firecrackers on Fourth of July

Ten lil firecrackers all ina line.
One found a lil match.
Then there were nine.
Nine lil firecrackers dancing round a grate.
One got too near the flame.
Then there were eight.
Eight lil firecrackers starting to go rovin’.
One got too near a lamp.
Then there were seven.
Seven lil firecrackers picking up sticks.
One picked a glowin’ punk.
Then there were six.
Six lil firecrackers all were so alive.
One sees a shiny thing.
Then there were five.
Five lil firecrackers wishing there were more.
One sees a roman candle.
Then there were four.
Four lil firecrackers wanting to get fwee.
One struggled near a coal.
Then there were thwee.
Thwee lil firecrackers lookin kinda blue.
One wents n warms his lil self.
Then there were two.
Two lil firecrackers pwaying ina sun.
One got near some glass.
Then there was one.
One lil firecracker pwaying all alone.
