Merchan is a distant world from our own. It is smaller than Earth with lush green forests and bright blue seas. For millennia Merchan has been ruled by three clans on its three provincial continents. From time to time these clans come
into conflict and a war erupts.
It has been twenty years since the last clan war of Merchan. The surface of the planet still shows the scars from the battles and the population of the provinces have been greatly reduced. As a result of the war, the female population of Merchan out-numbers the male population five to one. Now as the planet and its population begins to recover from the devastation of war a new danger threatens its fragile peace.
