The Khorgan bodies were gone and the commander motioned the orderlies to atand to. He walked to the table a picked the woman's arm up. It slipped form his hand, due to the oil on her skin. The tent door parted as Hadrian O'Brien, my archery commander and his sub-commander, Alanka, walked it. Alanka dusted his greaves and said, "This orange shit is a pain in the ass. Why dye? Couldn't you people smuggle a transponder in" The commander looked up from the woman and said,"You know the treaty and the rules. We are hired for a primative planet, we fight with primative weapons. We fight a sophisticated, high tech enemy, we fight high tech. You know this panet is monitored for ELM transmissions and laser and neutrino bursts, and you wouldn't want to have to refund our pay to the Employer out of a sub-centurian's wages, would you?" Alanka stepped to the foot of the table. "Well sir,low tech or high, I am hornier than a five peckered billy goat, after this time on the ground with Recon. May I?", he spoke. The commander looked at me and I said, "She'll be in 40 Khorgan bellies by dawn. Be my guest." He dropped his lower armor and dusting his hands, pulled her thighs to himand without ceremony entered her and began pumping away, oblivious to the rest of us. I looked at the commander with a slight grin and walked to Julius. I looked over my shoulder and said, "Oh, by the way..." I never got to finish my atatement because Alanka froze in mid thrust and went up on his toes, a look of terror on his face. He hissed in breath as I motioned for the Khorgans to take him by the arms, and his eyes widened further as I stepped to the table and drew my dagger. They held him up as I bent, a whimper coming from Alanka, and i bent and with the time of the dagger sawed a slit, first one side of the dead woman's vagina, then the other. Alanka collapsed into the arms of the Khorgans, and bent double as they lifted him away from the edge of the table and bent double, was escorted to the door of the tent. I said, "Alanka, remember the Amazons are humanoid, and go into rigor mortis like we do. And I hope this puts a crimp in any base or untoward distraction the men may have in dereliction of their duty", I said dryly. The commander motioned them out and he limped out of the tent between the two hairy soldiers. Imotioned for Julius to take the woman out. He tore the arrow from her chest, her breasts bouncing, and threw it to Hadrian, grabbed her by the wrists and threw her over his shoulder and carried her out like a sack, her swaying arms seeming to caress his buttocks as he went out. We moved to wash as the orderlies began bringing in wash basins and the table was swept clean with dirt.

The men were again around the table, a map spread out. I spoke to them, "We go in at dawn, straight across the stream in a power charge of cavalry, and then they will wheel to the flanks to keep from getting cut off, while the infantry will charge straight into the center. Each of the three contengents will probe for a weak spot and when found, the reserve lead by me will be thrown full speed and splinter the main body, and the rest will be mostly mopping up. The Amazons do not know the word retreat, and will be slaughtered where they stand. I will lead a party to secure the only weak spot in our lines, should they pull a little surprise offensive of their own. I will take myself, Julius, and 10 Khorgans. Any questions?" The Khorgan captain raised his hand and spoke carefully through filed teeth, "How did such a savage world come to be called by such a graceful and melodic name?", he lisped. "When this planet was discovered teo hundred years ago, the captain of the discovery ship came down ina drop shuttle and landed right where he should not have, in the middle of a large group of Amazons. As he stepped down the ramp he looked back at the men with him and spoke, "moi duska", which is "my darling" in Russian. His name was Sergey Leonov, and claimedto be descended fromAlexiLeonov, the first man to walk in space. His greeting was by a blonde Amazon who thrust a dagger into his head through the bottom of his chin, through the roof of his mouth and into his brain. The crew paniced and took of with out closing the ramp adequitely and depressurized and crashed. One pilot survived to report Sergey's first and last words, and in memory of him this planet was named Moyaduska." Hadrian raised his hand, "Who are our Employers?" I took a sip of water and said, "Our Employer is a corporate entity who desires resourse and industrial exploitation and luxury settlement of this planet. Beyond that I have no information. Any more?" The men rose and started out as ten Khorgans assembled outside.julius went to assemble them and I finished the water, picked up my helmet, and went out.

I stood in the cool breeze and looked down on the Khorgans. Their slain brothers were cooked whole and each trooper cut from the corpse what he wanted. The woman was laid out on a bier and one Khorgan had a small axe that he chopped first the arms at the elbows, then the shoulder, and the head, and then the legs were chopped from the corpse. The appendages were thrown into the fire and seared, and passed from man to man, who ate what he desired and passed on to his fellow. The torso was pierced with a spit and slowly turn over the fire and passed from man to man by two robed Khorgan priests/troopers. The bones were thrown into a pile. I was glad I was upwind from them. Cries and screams rang from across the small valley. The Amazons had crept in and taken a few prisoners of their own and had them tied to cross trunks of wood and were slicing and stabbing the men to mock and infuriate us. I took out the telescope and extebded it, and in the reflection of the fire a small figure on horseback walked her horse through the camp, and i did not need the glass to know who it was.

She was smallest of all the Amazons and was a lithe, fluid pillar of white skin contrasted by coal black eyes, hair, and brows. The onlt thing to break the contrast was her full red lips. Her skin was not bronzed from the sun and her body gleamed like a white pearl as the firelight was reflected from her oiled skin. Her breasts were not full, but proportioned to the rest of her body, and bounced in rhythum to her black steed's steps. Her legs were perfect, and her frame was not bulging with muscle as the rest of her sisters, but was smooth and full as a young sapling. she held her hand to her stomach fromtime to time and the slight swelling made it apparent she was with child, a fourth to one third of the Amazons were fecund, and a pregnat Amazon is all the more fierce than one who is not. I let out a breath and felt a wealness for a moment, drew my dirk and dropped the glass to the ground. I walked to to Julius and the rest of the men and we made our way down the slope, and into the night.
