"Gurlz With Gunz"

I sent this little scenario along to PMS productions in hopes that I could see a phototale put into annimation, so to speak ... He seemed to think it overly ambitious - and oh! how I morn the passing of our little theater group during my college daze!
Anyway, it may be good for a chuckle or two, so I thought I may as wll post here, and who knows? Perhaps another producer will pick up on it ...

Gurlz With Guns

Characters: 3 Models, 2 Males

Setting: Motel Room

Props: 2 pistols for the girls and (possibly) other handguns, rifle, "heavy artillery" for the men

Costume: As little as possible for the girls - open vest or shirt perhaps?

Places: Maxine is sitting on the bed, Lucille is at the window, and the Hostage is seated and tied to a chair

Camera: General shot of the room and the three women

Narrator:

Our story unfolds in a room at the No-Tell Motel located just outside of Killville.
Maxine and her partneer, Lucille, have held up a courier as she was attempting to make a night deposit at the Last National Bank.

The pair of thieves have taken the hapless courier hostage.

Unfortunately for this trio, their activities have not gone unobserved ...
Camera On: Maxine

Max:

Lou! Will you get away from that window? You're making me nervous!

Camera On: Lucille

Lou:

Shhh! Max! Someone's out there!

Camera On: Maxine

Max:

This is a motel, y'know, Lou? We're not likely t'be the only ones here!

Camera On: Lou

Lou:

Yeah! I know! But I got an uneasy feeling about this!

Camera On: Hostage

Hostage:

What are you gonna do with me?

Camera On: Lucille

Lou:

You? I dunno ... What did we drag her into this for, Max?

Camera On: Maxine

Max:

Just a little bit of insurance protection ...

Chief: (off-camera)

All right in there!
We've got the place surrounded!
There's no chance of escape!
So come out with your hands in the air!

Camera: General shot of the girls as they scramble into action ...

Lucille ducks down and away from the window while Maxine rises from the bed and goes to the hostage ...

Camera On: Hostage

Hostage:

What're you doing? Please! Don't hurt me!

Camera On: Maxine

Max:

It isn't me you've got to worry about, Honey!

Maxine frees her and the Hostage rises warily to her feet.

Max:

It's those dudes outside!

Camera On: Hostage

Hostage:

Huh?

Camera On: Maxine

Max:

Open the door, Lou! Slowly!

Max (yelling):

Don't shoot! Don't Shoot! We're coming out!

Camera On: Maxine and Hostage

Maxine shoves her Hostage toward the open door while she herself hits the deck ...

Camera On: Hostage - Front, Rear, and Profiles

Automatic weapon fire erupts ...

The Hostage is stopped in her tracks and does a "Death Dance" as a hail of lead rips through her body such that would make Sam Peckinpaugh wince, and Sam Leo lose his lunch ...

(Remember the dance called the "Shimmy", Pennpaul? Our actress is to do something akin to that.)

This is to be a nice, long shot done from several camera angles. And trust your effects team to edit this "tastefully" ... The rest may go to the "Out Takes ... We waste nothing around here ... Except for the girls, of course! :o)

Camera On: Hostage laying dead on the floor

Deputy (off-camera):

Chief! I got one of 'em, Chief!

Chief (off camera):

I'll say you did! That was their hostage, ya dipstick!

Camera On: Maxine

Max:

My mother always told me there'd be days like this!

Ad-lib: A free-for-all gun battle ensues ... Both girls are wounded "slightly".

One after another their guns click empty

Camera On: Lucille

Lou:

Max! Max! That was my last clip!

Camera On: Maxine

Max:

I'm empty too! I guess this is it, Lou!

Doors burst open on both sides of the room ...
Instinctively, the women point their empty guns ...
And are immediately caught in a cross-fire that shoots each of them for about as long as she can remain standing ...
(Again, don't "over-do" this ... I don't want this to look like something left over from the days of "Club Dead" ... Think "Tragedy" - not "Ridiculous" - Okay?)

Aftermath

Dialog takes place off-camera

Camera On: Pans of the bodies beautiful

Deputy:

Phew! What a mess!

Chief:

Yes ... But's let us just make certain, shall we?
We can't afford to take any chances with these two, you know!

Maxine and Lucille are both rolled over (to assume the standard "necrobabe position". Their chests heave upward (a la the bathroom floor scene in "Satan's Blade") as several additional rounds are pumped into them.

Deputy:

Gosh, Chief! That's one helluva lotta lead these babes took!

Chief:

All in the Line of Duty, Son! All in the Line of Duty!

Deputy:

But what about the hostage? Who's gonna cover for us?

Chief:

Yeah ... That was too bad about her!
But then ... That's where my Brother-in-law comes in handy!

Deputy:

He does? How?

Chief:

He's the Coronor! Remember?

(A moment passes in silence)

Deputy:

What're you thinking about, Chief?

Chief:

What makes you suppose that I was thinking about anything in particular?

Deputy:

Oh, I don't know ... The expression on your face, I guess!

Chief:

I was thinking that between the two of us,
we just got more in the way of Physical Response out of these three women than you or I are ever gonna get in Real Life!

(Fade and Cut!)
