"Asphyxiation Rendezvous"

Terri was the only person to notice the blonde sitting in the hotel’s plush lobby. She had at first merely glanced at the woman. Then Terri’s mind had registered the fact that the blonde was smiling at her and then Terri had mentally shuffled through her file of familiar faces. Despite the brave front that Terri had put up, Toni knew her friend was dying. Terri had reassured her old friend that the surgery had been a complete success and that she was fully recovered from her illness. Toni knew in her heart that Terri was just trying to shield her from the truth. Toni didn’t want the lovely lady to suffer so she had strangled her dead.
"Yes, this was the only way out for you," Toni sighed.
Toni brushed a dark curl from off Terri’s forehead. The back of her hand moved slowly down the cool cheek. The tip of her index finger traced the curve of Terri’s strangled features.
"Don’t you see you’re at peace now, my darling." Toni said as she bent and kissed the dead lips.
