...is always the hardest. Sob. After that it gets easier--NOT! I woke up this morning and snorted a shitload of pookuh leaf because I figured I'd need it. And I was right. The math is too complicated. I don't know where I'll be on the "leader" board but it won't be number one. Oh, hell. Oh, well. But yuh know, magnanimity has always been my strong suit, along with a deep and abiding compassion for all human beings, so I think it was once again a blast to participate in this year's first second annual bad story competition, and my hats are off to the judges, who did a wonderful job. If the reviews and comments weren't so GOOD-- the judging really makes this thing-- it would be far less fun than it is. I look forward with a sort of masochistic glee to the first third annual bad story competition, provided we have not all been overtaken by catastrophe between now and then.
