A Last Cigarette: Gun Moll Massacare

Here's another story featuring a number of the Necrobabe crowd. I hope they enjoy there roles.

It was a quiet day in Sweetwater, Texas but it wouldn't stay quiet long.
The Bank of Sweetwater held the payroll for Rexxon Oil. In 1930's Depression era Texas, times were hard. Money was scarce and so were jobs. Some people squeaked by, some went under and some did what they had to do to survive.
All heads turned when they entered the bank. They were six beautiful women. Any one of them would have turned heads by herself. But all six made a real presence. The fact they all carried Tommy guns only added to their impact.
They were all dressed alike. Black dresses, gloves and hats. It looked like they were all going to a funeral. And when they left a town there was almost always one needed. For the last year, they terrorized banks and bankers.
The leader was named Vicky but everybody knew her as Dollface. She was a bleached blonde stunner who most thought could give Jean Harlow a run for a career in Hollywood. She was beautiful and she knew it. Her looks were almost as deadly a weapon as her Thompson was.
Her second in command was Roxxi. She was a tall, dark and dangerous dame, who killed when she had to and she had to a lot.
Next was Lisa but because of her size everybody called her Pixie. But most people let her size fool them. She was as dangerous as the rest.
Juli came in next. Her nickname was Nbabe. She had exotic Asian features that sometimes made Dollface jealous when guys noticed her.
Juli almost had to drag in Mary. Mary was scared. She was just a girl of 18. This was her first job with the gang. She needed money to feed her kid and was desperate enough to throw in with this lot.
Bringing up the rear was Elise. Nobody knew much about her. She was a woman of mystery. There were rumors of spying for foreign governments but she didn't talk about any of it.
As I said, when they walked in they grabbed all the attention in the bank. Roxxi let a burst of her Thompson go into the ceiling to make sure they kept it.
Dollface took over.
"Alright everybody! I think even a bunch of dirt farmers like yourselves can guess why we are here"announced Dollface to the crowd.
"Follow orders you live. If you don't, you die. Get it" she continued.
A silence followed.
"I said GET IT!" she yelled and let loose a burst of her Tommy gun into the ceiling.
"Yes..sure..ok..Whatever you say" came a nervous chorus from the bank.
"Good. Now who runs this piggy bank" she demanded.
A meek mousy man slowly approached.
Dollface saw the balding man about 45 slink up to her.
"Step right up sweetie, don't be shy. I don't bite but my friend here sure does," she said holding up her gun.
The man stood in front of her.
"What's your name pal" she asked in a friendly manner.
"G-G-George, ma'am" he almost whispered.
"Hey speak up" she ordered.
"G-G-George, ma'am" he nervously repeated.
"Well G-G-George, you can call me Dollface. Cause all my pals call me Dollface and I want you and me to be pals" she said with mock friendship.
For some reason, the guard felt he could take on this bunch. He was a retired Dallas cop and this sort of stuff made him mad. Damn thieves, that's all they were. Cowards too he thought.
He made a play for his gun. He thought he'd scare them if he showed his gun, after all they were just women.
They may have been women but women who have killed over 50 people in six states.
He never cleared his holster.
Juli and Pixie noticed the guard's foolish act of bravery. Both let loose a barrage. About 30 bullets tore through the guard's chest and belly. He was slammed into the wall. When the firing stopped, he slid down the wall leaving a trail of gore that was once his back on the wall.
The crowd screamed and a teller made a run for it. She got three steps when Elise blasted her in the back. The bullets tore through her and out her front. The tellers last view on earth was the wall in front her being riddled with bullets and her blood.
"Quiet! Quiet or you all get it" barked Dollface and the crowd quieted but soft sobbing could still be heard.
"Now where were we pal? You see what happens to folks who don't want to be my pal?" said Dollface pointing to the dead guard, who still twitched a bit.
He nodded his head furiously in agreement.
"Good pal. Now where's the vault" said Dollface motioning with her Tommy gun in George's belly.
They walked to the vault and George stood there awaiting his next order.
"Well? Open it, pal" said Dollface again prodding with her gun.
George nervously worked on the combination.
"Er…eh 17 left….eh…46…eh right" he nervously said to himself as his mind went blank with fear.
"Take your time pal," said Dollface in a comforting tone.
"Take your time, I'll give you a whole 10 seconds to open it or I open you" she continued in the same calm tone.
At that George worked harder on opening the door.
"Hey Dollface! We got company," yelled Juli from the window where she was standing guard.
"Who?!" demanded Dollface.
"About a hundred cops" announced Juli in a concerned voice.
Dollface turned her attention to George.
"Pal, I thought this was between you and me," she said in a hurt voice.
"Now you gotta bring in some of your friends" continued Dollface hurt.
"No…p-p-please it wasn't…." was all George stammered before Dollface let loose a barrage in George's belly.
The hot lead tore through him grinding flesh and organs into hamburger. He was thrown against the vault door and bounced to the floor still twitching.
But the fatal slugs that ended George's life were not done. At that close range they tore through him and hit the bank vault door. From there they ricocheted. A young farm couple standing 10 feet away were trying to make a final payment on their farm. They bought the farm that day in more ways than one. The hot lead tore through their chests. The man's heart burst and he was thrown to the floor by the impact.
The woman chest was riddled and her lungs were hit. She fell to the floor gasping as her lungs filled with her own blood. She tried to drag herself over to her dead husband but the strain was too much for her and she died reaching for his hand.
"Stop screwing around Dollface this is serious" demanded Roxxi who was at the same window as Juli.
Indeed there were about a hundred cops, sheriffs, deputies; marshals out there all gunning for the Dollface Gang.
Dollface arrived at the window and looked out. She was impressed. They really must take her seriously if they sent this sort of reception. Hell even Johnny Dillinger didn't get this attention.
"Am I too late for the free toaster" came a voice from the front door.
The gang turned with guns ready.
They saw a lone man with his hands up, standing in the doorway.
"Keller" said Dollface.
"Yeah" said Keller.
"J. Edgar send you personally to get me," Dollface asked.
"Talked to him yesterday" answered Keller.
"I'm unarmed. I just want to talk" explained Keller.
"Sure. Girls let him in," said Dollface to her gang.
Keller walked over to Dollface his hands still in the air.
"Scram" Dollface ordered her gang and she and Keller stood alone.
Dollface took out a cigarette with her gloved hand and put it in her mouth.
"May I" asked Keller motioning to his pocket.
Dollface nodded and Keller took out a match and light Dollface's cigarette.
"A real gentleman" admired Dollface blowing out the match with her smoke.
"I try," said Keller beginning to blush.
"You can't win, Dollface" he said.
"Every cop in the county is here and everyone in the state will be here soon" he continued.
"I've been in tougher scrapes and got out" said Dollface unconcerned.
"Not like this. The gloves are off. They held back from killing you before cause you were a woman. Now they don't care. They want you dead. It took me an hour to persuade them to even think about letting you surrender," warned Keller.
"Thanks for the concern, G-man but no dice. I walk out of here; I walk right into a noose. You think I got a prayer in a court? They'll go for the death penalty and get it" she explained.
"The only way out is if we hook up" purred Dollface.
Keller thought about this. He couldn't lie to himself. He had some feelings he couldn't tell what for this woman. But could her through away everything he held dear in his life for her.
Dollface saw Keller daydreaming.
"Can't you take a joke copper" snapped Dollface.
"We both know I'm as good as dead either way" she continued.
Keller couldn't argue. He was thinking the same thing himself. He just had to try. He wanted to give her a chance. Maybe with a chance he thought to himself. Then he realized what he was thinking. He was an FBI agent. She was a cold-blooded killer. Over the last 6 months chasing her, he began to get into her head. She was beautiful enough. She had brains. Maybe she could…. He caught himself again.
Dollface also saw in his eyes what he was thinking. She too had a feeling for him. What was it admiration, caring or lo…. No that's crazy talk. This is just stalling.
"Sorry flatfoot. Take a hike" ordered Dollface.
"I'm sorry it has to be this way," he said starting to leave.
"Hey Keller" called Dollface.
He turned to face her.
"You be careful out there," she said softly.
He nodded and left.
The gang hurried over.
"What are we going to do?" asked Juli.
"What do you think, asshole" she snapped.
"Listen, Dollface. I'm just a kid. I ain't never killed anyone," said Mary.
"I just joined up. Let me surrender. I got a kid" she begged Dollface.
"Sure kid, I wouldn't want these guys to fill you full of holes" said Dollface comfortingly.
"Thank you..oh God..thank you" babbled Mary turning quickly from the group.
Mary walked toward the door.
Dollface raised her Thompson and fired a dozen rounds into Mary's back.
"Not when you're friend can do it for you" snapped Dollface.
The bullets formed a straight line across Mary's' shoulders. The bullets exited out her front. Ripping her breasts apart. She fell forward and landed on her knees.
She was gasping for breath. Blood welled up in her mouth.
Dollface walked over to Mary and kicked her over on her side.
Mary looked up pleading for mercy.
"P-p-p-leasssse" gasped Mary.
"Sure kid" said Dollface firing another burst into Mary's chest.
Mary twitched wildly on the floor and suddenly went still.
"Are you through?" asked Roxxi to Dollface.
"Anybody else want to surrender" asked Dollface.
No one answered.
"Then let's get to it" she ordered.
The gang too up positions around the bank.
Pixie knew this was it for her. Hell, she pretty much knew she'd end up like this anyway. It sure as hell beat slinging hash at the truck stop and getting pawed by truckers all day.
She made her own terms and lived by them. Now she was ready to die by them.
She lit a cigarette and braced herself by the front door. She threw it open and burst out the door firing.
Two cops sneaking up to the door were killed instantly.
The other cops answered Pixie's message of hot lead.
Two dozen cops opened up on her.
Hot lead exploded into her from dozens of spots. She spouted like a blood fountain.
She was dancing from the impact of all those bullets as they held her against the bank door.
When the barrage stopped. Pixie fell to the ground in a pile of meat and bone that had once been a beautiful woman.
Elise saw the front door being riddled with bullets from the outside and saw the flow of blood under the door. She knew Pixie had met her fate.
Elise's years of training taught her to find a defendable spot and use it.
She made a small fortress by a back window. From that she fired her Thompson with deadly accuracy.
She stopped to light a cigarette. This was going to be a while she thought to herself.
What she didn't plan on was that the cops had sharpshooters of their own.
The small 6" opening she used for her gun was used against her. Half a dozen bullets made it through the hole and into Elise's belly.
Damn she thought to herself through the pain. She should have been more careful. She tried firing again but the cops already had her location zeroed in. Another barrage sent bullets into her chest and belly.
She cried out once in pain. The only sound heard from her after was her death rattle.
Roxxi was nervously smoking a cigarette when she noticed out the back door that only a few cops were there and they had a car that was still running. She could take these guys and be out of here.
Screw Dollface, she thought. Crazy dame was going to get her killed!
Roxxi readied herself and went out the door. Three cops fell from her initial blast.
Two cops hiding behind a parked car fired their .38's at Roxxi. One slug tore into her belly.
The pain made her mad. She blasted both cops through the car as glass and blood filled the air.
She kept going. Another cop in a tree fired and hit her in the left breast.
Now she was furious! She was proud of her breasts. Now some damn cop ruined one.
She fired into the tree. She saw an explosion of leaves and blood before the cop fell dead from the tree.
She was almost at the car.
Keller saw Roxxi run to the car. He had two cops with him.
"Stop" he called out to Roxxi but his companions just opened fire.
Four bullets tore into her belly. She spun toward the cops and in a hail of hot lead blasted them. They fell dead at Keller's feet.
Roxxi saw all that stood between her and the car was Keller. Her freedom was only one more kill away.
From the bank, Dollface saw Roxxi aiming her Thompson at Keller.
"No" screamed Dollface as she fired at Roxxi's back.
"I'm almost free," Roxxi said as the barrage of lead from Dollface hit her in the back.
She spun around in pain and saw Dollface.
Crazy dame she thought as she fell on the ground muddy with her own blood.
"Are you crazy?" demanded Juli.
"That was Roxxi!" Juli pointed out.
"Shut up or you'll join her" snapped Dollface.
"You won't get me," said Juli raising her Thompson at Dollface.
But Dollface was quicker. Hell, she'd wanted to plug Juli for a while now. She just didn't have the opportunity. Now she did.
Dollface fired and Juli took a blast in the belly. She fell back on the floor. Dollface looked at her fighting for air and writhing in pain.
"Not so good looking now" she sneered at Juli.
Juli stared at her with intense hatred. Dollface smiled back at her.
"I-I-I'll ssssee you in hell" rasped Juli.
"Save me a seat" joked Dollface as she let loose another blast into Juli.
With everyone else dead, Dollface was truly alone.
The hostages, she thought and she looked to see where they had scattered.
But she was too late. They had already escaped out the front door aided by Keller.
Keller stood in the front door. His .38 in hand.
"Give it up, Dollface" he ordered.
Dollface thought for a moment. This was it. If she surrendered it would surely be death. Her only way out was through Keller.
She made a halfhearted attempt to raise her gun.
Keller fired twice and hit her in the belly.
Dollface stiffened and staggered back a step. Another attempt to raise her gun made Keller fire again. This time in her right breast. Close but no cigar to her heart.
She fell to the floor in a swoon.
Keller hurried over to her.
She lay there struggling. She fought death as she fought life.
"Got a c-c-cigarette" she rasped.
Keller took one out and lit it. He knelt down and placed it between her lips.
"Thankss..cough..cough" she said coughing out the smoke.
"Ya got me good G-man," she said with a sad smile.
"Hope they give you a medal" she said.
"Sorry Dollface" he said in a genuine apology.
For a moment he saw her there dying in his arms.
"Call an ambulance" ordered Keller.
"Better make that an undertaker" joked Dollface with a faint laugh that started her coughing again.
Blood was trickling down her chin. Keller knew she was right.
He thought about her. Her beauty and brains. Maybe things could have been different. Maybe he should have taken up her offer.
As if reading his mind, Dollface said, "We both would have ended up like this if you came with me. It's better this way"
"Dollface…" started Keller but was cut off.
"Please call me Vicky," said Dollface as she began to tremble as shock set in.
"Sure Vicky" he said and she smiled.
A twinge of pain hit her and she winced.
"I'm scared Keller. I don't wanna die..cough..I'm so cold. Hold me" she begged as the end was in sight.
Keller held her close and he felt her stiffen and go limp. He held her a moment more knowing she was dead.
He softly laid her on the floor. He closed her eyes. There she was finally at peace after a year on the run.
He took off his jacket and covered her face and stood up.
"Some tough dame. Scared to die in the end" laughed a local cop.
Keller turned around and knocked him cold. He then turned and walked out the door.

I hope you liked this one. Please let me know what you did and didn't like about it. Till later, take care.
