Wind

by
AlOmega

As we soar in flight,
We’re driven by the Wind
Into darkest night,
We’re driven by the Wind
When stars shine bright,
They’re driven by the Wind.
And dragons taking flight,
Are driven by the Wind.

Our thoughts to heights,
Are driven by the Wind,
E'en when Man must fight,
He's driven by the Wind.
As ships of might,
Are driven by the Wind.
As clouds of thunderous sight
Are driven by the Wind

Our dreams in fancies flight
Are driven by the Wind
As leaves on autumn nights
Are driven by the Wind
Like buoyant paper kites
Are driven by the Wind
As Mankind’s powered flights
Are driven by the Wind.

Sand-scoured mountain blight
Are driven by the Wind.
Like Man’s own Works of Might
Are driven by the Wind
As Time erodes all to light
They’re driven by the Wind
So all we know and love
Is driven by the Wind.
