HIAWATHA - REVISED
Hiawatha went a-hunting,
Hunting for the mighty rabbit,
Rabbit who is noble Mudjovikis.
Why to look for noble Mudjovikis?
Why to kill the noble Mudjovikis?
To make him something of the skin.
Of the skin to make him mittens,
Make them with the fur side inside,
Make them with the skin side outside.
Though rabbit had the skin side inside,
And soft white fur side he kept outside.
But mighty Hiawatha wanted mittens
To get the warm side fur side inside,
And put the inside skin side outside;
He, to get the cold side outside.
Was why he put the fur side inside,
Why he put the skin side outside,
Why he turned them inside outside.
So Mujovikis with fur side outside,
O noble bunny with skin side inside
Died to make-um mittens so warm
With fur side inside and skin side outside
So death came to mighty Mujovikis,
He the noble rabbit was.
And Hiawatha had his mittens with fur side inside outside
Or is that outside inside for skin side, fur side.
Do not forget the might rabbit,
Do not forget the noble Mujovikis
For he died to make for Hiawatha
The great hunter and tracker Hiawatha
To confuse the mighty hunter, the mighty tracker
With fur side outside inside and skin side inside outside.
